I was born in Ogden, Utah and grew up in Northfield, Minnesota. After graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy, I went to London with the Tufts-in-London Program. A professor at Tufts got me a job ushering at The National Theatre. I was able to earn enough money to pay for a bed-sit in Belsize Park. I stayed in London for four years, trained at the Drama Centre, and then went back to Northfield to waitress at a truck stop before moving to NYC. I joined the Greenwich House Theatre Company, playing lead roles in new plays. I am a member of the New Jersey Repertory Company.
